Patna: The three-member inquiry committee set up by the railways in the case of alleged misbehaviour with the BJP MLA Shivesh Kumar failed to submit the interim report by Monday evening. The report is now expected to be submitted to East Central Railway (ECR) general manager by Tuesday evening. An ECR official said the probe was on. n Monday, Patna rail superintendent of police Suresh Prasad Choudhary and rail deputy superintendent of police visited the MLA’s house and took the couple’s statements. Choudhary said arrested travelling ticket examiner Akhilesh Kumar was sent to jail on Monday. Patna: Food and consumer protection minister Shyam Rajak on Monday expressed his disappointment over India Food Corporation (IFC) for not procuring custom mill rice (CMR) in spite of repeated meetings and instructions in this regard. IFC has procured just 9.95 lakh metric tonnes, whereas 1.54 lakh metric tonne CMR is lying in the mills.
