5 dead in road mishap

Gaya: Five persons were killed in a road accident on Wednesday. A truck mowed down Niranjan Kumar and Mohammad Rustam, travelling on a bike, at Taradih village around 11pm. Amas police station personnel reached the spot and were negotiating with a tractor driver to take the bodies for a post-mortem to Anugrah Narayan Medical College and Hospital. uring the discussion, a trailer rammed into the tractor, killing Mumtaz, tractor driver Murari and vehicle owner Sunil. Havildar Anandi was injured.

Body found

Patna: A seven-year-old girl, Prerna, died under mysterious circumstances at a house located at Indra Nagar. The body was recovered from a box located underneath a water tank on Thursday.

Building rule

Patna: The Bihar Unauthorised Religious Structures, Construction, Survey and Regularisation, Relocation and Removal Rules, 2013, has come into force with effect from Thursday, a notification issued by special home secretary Preeta Verma said.

Patna: Vigilance investigation bureau officials on Thursday filed a chargesheet against retired executive engineer of Patna Electricity Supply Undertaking Triloki Nath Jha in connection with a disproportionate assets case worth Rs 7.28 lakh.

Muzaffarpur: Karja police station lodged an FIR accusing Shyam Kumar of masterminding attacks on a police team on Wednesday at Marwan village and the subsequent death of woman constable Shushan Hansda.
