Thermal station launch

B>nPatna, Nov. 16: Chief minister Nitish Kumar would dedicate the first unit of the 110MW Muzaffarpur Thermal Power Station tomorrow after the completion of renovation and modernisation work at the plant. he state would get the entire power generated from the plant, made operational after 11 years.

Lok adalat

B>nPatna: The district court would hold a lok adalat on November 23 to dispose of more than 30,000 cases. The Bihar State Legal Services Authority will hold the lok adalat, for which 35 benches have been arranged in Patna and also in the sub-divisions of Barh, Masauri, Patna City and Danapur.

Camp

B>nPatna: Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Ltd would organise two-day camps on November 19 and 20 across the state to provide hassle-free connection to consumers.

Order for DMs

B>nPatna: Chief secretary A.K. Sinha held a meeting with the district magistrates and officials of the health department through video-conferencing ordering them to remove encroachments from government medical colleges.

Gang busted

B>nPatna: Police on Saturday claimed to have bust a gang of men who had allegedly floated a fake financial company and had taken a huge amount of money from people with a promise that their investments would double in a short time.

Murder arrest

B>nPatna: Police on Saturday arrested two persons who were involved in the murder of a middle-aged man whose body was recovered from the Chipura-Jaganpura road under the jurisdiction of Gopalpur police station in Patna rural.
