Patna, Nov. 26: The state government has approved the police headquarter’s proposal for creation of two additional police sub-divisions in Muzaffarpur and Banka. he new police sub-divisions would be set up at Saraiya in Muzaffarpur and Belhar in Banka, respectively, for better policing and maintenance of law and order, a notification issued by the home (police) department today said.Patna: The Bihar State Primary Teachers’ Association on Tuesday said they would hold a series of protests from December 9 to 11 in support of their different demands, including non-payment of regular salaries. Patna: Police, in a major breakthrough, have claimed to arrest a three criminals who had planned to abduct Balmukund, the owner of a construction rod-producing company. he police said the businessman was involved in the manufacturing of several items. The criminals were nabbed from the Bypass area by a special team of cops of different police stations. Officers added that the plan was to ask for a ransom of Rs 22 crore from the family of the businessman. Two criminals lodged at the Barh sub-divisional jail had planned the abduction. They have been identified as Mritunjay and Naga Singh, the police said. Patna: The Mahavir Arogya Sansthan has started a free check-up camp for children between the age of six and 14 years for ailments related to eyes, ear, nose and throat. Acharya Kishore Kunal, the chairman of the Bihar State Board of Religious Trusts, said such camps would be a regular affair.Patna: The transport department will provide driving licences to 20 women autorickshaw drivers at the Veterinary College ground on Wednesday.
