Patna, Dec. 3: Four police officers, including three constables and an assistant sub-inspector, were suspended because chief minister Nitish Kumar’s carcade got stuck in a traffic jam between Sheikhpura Mor and Jagdeo Path on November 29.

Sleaze racket

Patna: Police unearthed a sex racket during a raid on three cyber cafés at Keshav Palace complex under the jurisdiction of Shastrinagar police station on Tuesday evening. The police nabbed some men and recovered a few girls.

Protest march

Patna: The Lok Janshakti Party’s city unit took out a protest march on Tuesday against the rising number of criminal incidents in Patna. Party leaders held the state government responsible for the deteriorating law and order condition.

Legal axe

Patna: Section 144 of IPC, which prohibits illegal assembly of five or more persons at one place, would be imposed in and around the premises of the state legislature during its winter session. he district administration issued an order in this regard on Tuesday.
