High court order

Patna: A high court division Justice Navin Sinha and Justice Shailesh Kumar Sinha on Friday directed the urban development department to strictly adhere to its previous orders passed in connection with the hearing of a PIL on illegal mushrooming of high rise buildings in the city. he government would also file its reply as how it intends to implement its orders. The bench also made it clear that police would not harass those firms and people who are carrying out constructions as per the prescribed law. The bench directed the state government to constitute more teams, apart from existing six, to carry out survey of the apartments of the capital.

Procedure

Motihari: Process has been started to strengthen the police stations of East Champaran under the Border Development Programme of the central government. Besides, providing the required basic infrastructure, the police stations would be allotted new vehicles, sufficient lighting arrangement and proper approach roads for easy access for people.

Crime control

Motihari: East Champaran police and the district administration have started measures to initiate Crime Control Act against a mukhiya of the district. Mukhiya of Piprakhem panchayat Ratnesh Kumar alias Ratnesh Sah, lodged in jail in over a dozen criminal cases has been found guilty of active connivance with criminals as well as Maoists, said police on Friday.

Patna: Physician and health director of Public Awareness for Healthful Approach for Living (Pahal) Diwakar Tejaswi on Friday shared information about symptoms of Aids/HIV with the students and teachers of Nalanda Medical College and Hospital. Pahal press note said the need of the hour was to make people aware of the precautions they should take to avoid HIV infection.
