Patna: Three criminals snatched Rs 1 lakh from an employee of a Ghazipur-based wholesale dealer of betel nuts, Mohan Ram, near Jahajghat in Buxar district on Thursday. he victim has been admitted to the Buxar sadar hospital in a precarious condition. The police have, however, failed to make by breakthrough in the case.Patna: Passengers of a private bus were robbed of Rs 14,000 and other valuables worth Rs 1 lakh near Mayabigha village on Deoghar-Rajgir road in Nawada district on Wednesday night. The incident occurred when the victims were on their way to Rajgir in Nalanda from Deoghar in Jharkhand. Sources said six men had been nabbed and the post-mortem report showed that the girl was killed brutally. Patna: Two players from Bihar, Bipul Kumar and Puja Kumari, would take part at the Junior World Taekwondo Championship at Taipei, from March 20 to 26. The two are part of the Indian team that would participate in the tournament.Patna: A Haj adalat for prospective applicants was organised at the Regional Passport Office, Maurya Lok Complex on Thursday. A total of 420 passport applicants who have not received the passport applying for Haj participated in the adalat. Of 420 applicants, 347 were given passport number and their passports would be dispatched.
