Gaya, April 2: Security personnel today recovered a can bomb weighing around 20kg planted along the roadside near Barheta village under the jurisdiction of Bankebazaar police station.he bomb was found in the morning during combing operations by central paramilitary forces and the district police in view of the upcoming parliamentary elections. Patna: The state chief of JD(U), Bashishtha Narayan Singh has announced the names of five candidates who would contest from Assembly seats vacated. The wife of ex-MP Monajir Hassan, Shabnam Praveen, will contest from Sahebpur Kamal in Begurai district. The seat was vacant owing to resignation of Praveen Amanullah. Mojahid Alam was named for Kochadhanman seat in Kishanganj district. Syed Rukmuddin was named candidate from Baisi Assembly seat in Purnea district. However, 94 IAS officers, who have not been able to furnish details of their property, have been given a 15-day ultimatum to do so.
