Swine flu case
Patna: A swine flu case was reported in Patna on Friday. A 12-year-old Agamkuan resident was tested positive for the disease at Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences. So far, 16 swine flu cases have been found positive in Patna.

Patna: Deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Friday said the decisions taken in Friday's GST meeting in Delhi would be conducive for industrialists. The decision entails retailers with a turnover of Rs 1.5 crore could now file their tax returns once in every three months unlike the previous monthly system.

Carcass order
• Patna: Patna High Court on Friday directed PMC to file a reply within four weeks in a case related to disposal of animal carcass in the Ganga. A division bench of Chief Justice Rajendra Menon and Justice Anil Kumar Upadhyay passed the order on a PIL by Guddu Baba, who presented pictures showing disposal of carcass in the river.
Drug affidavit
• Patna: The state government on Friday filed a counter-affidavit in the high court in the case of siphoning off of medicines purchased by government medical colleges. The government said FIRs had been lodged and action was being taken.
