Bail for Rocky
Patna, Sept. 21: The high court single bench of Justice A.K. Trivedi today granted bail to Rocky Yadav in a case lodged against him for preventing government officials from discharging their duty and misbehaviour with police at Patna airport while going to Gaya to surrender in Aditya Sachdeva murder case.
On September 6 this year, a Gaya court convicted Rocky for life for killing Aditya on May 7, 2016.

Ranchi: Former Bihar director-general of police D.P. Ojha and Karu Ram, ex-officer on special duty of then chief minister Lalu Prasad, on Thursday recorded their statements before the special CBI court of Shivpal Singh and S.S. Prasad in Ranchi as witnesses of the RJD chief in two fodder scam cases.

Scam FIR
Chhapra: An FIR has been lodged with Town police station in connection with embezzlement of government funds to the tune of Rs 62 lakh. The fund sanctioned under the District Urban Development Agency was found missing from government accounts with Punjab National Bank.
Sand stay
Patna: The high court single bench of Justice Jyoti Saran on Thursday stayed any administrative action against M/s Broad Son Commodities Private Ltd in the case of illegal sand mining till October 6 when the matter will be heard again. However, the court rejected the petitioner's plea of allowing it to sell its stock of sand as it has not been seized by the administration.
Hygiene order
Patna: The Centre has asked the Bihar government to make an action plan to make the state open defecation-free and inform the Centre about what help was needed for its execution.
