Cabinet nod Deposition Cash check Study course

Patna: The cabinet on Tuesday sanctioned Rs 112.76 crore for the construction of 91 high schools in Bihar under the centrally sponsored multi sectoral development programme. It also approved Rs 13,000 crore first supplementary budget and Rs 15 crore scheme for the modernisation of rice mills. Rs 2 crore was sanctioned for the state human rights commission as establishment grant.

Deposition

Patna: The 24-year-old woman, allegedly kidnapped on June 23 from Kankerbagh, deposed in the local court on Tuesday, claiming she had gone away on her own. She also informed the court that she married Chandan Kumar.

Cash check

Patna: District magistrate N. Saravana Kumar on Tuesday directed officials concerned to check the cashbooks and bank accounts of their respective departments at least once a month to check financial irregularities.

Study course

Patna: Patna University vice-chancellor Y.C. Simahadri on Tuesday inaugurated the fourth refresher course in commerce organised by the department of applied economics and commerce.
