Munger: Police produced Bhola Verma, Dariyapur-2 mukhiya, and his son Shambhu before journalists on Sunday and said they were recovered late on Saturday night.

Naresh Koda, a resident of Rajasaray village, was also arrested in the abduction case, but Koda denied any involvement. Koda claimed he, along with other villagers, were also abducted on March 24 and set free on Saturday night. He said the police arrested him after he was freed.

Superintendent of police Ashish Bharati said on Sunday the abducted persons were found atop the hill of Kharaghpur Jheel while saying nothing about the Maoists.
