Patna, Oct. 10: On the eve of L.K. Advani’s rally at Gandhi Maidan, the BJP legislators are all set to play good hosts.

Make no mistake. BJP big guns are not their guests. They would entertain the crowd they are gathering for the BJP patriarch’s rally in the city.

Besides ferrying crowd for the rally from their respective Assembly constituencies, the BJP legislators have been asked to make arrangements for the supporters’ food and stay at their official residences.

Motihari BJP MLA Pramod Kumar was busy today making arrangements for thousands of party supporters arriving from his constituency. They would be accommodated at his official residence at 77/78 MLA Flat near Patna High Court.

“The supporters will be reaching here tomorrow morning. They will rest here for some time because they will be tired after the journey. They will also have breakfast and lunch at my official residence. I will serve them puri, rice, dal and mixed vegetable. When the address of Advaniji will begin at Gandhi Maidan, they need some power for sloganeering,” said Kumar.

Benipatti MLA Vinod Narayan Jha was also busy making arrangements for his party supporters at his official residence on Daroga Rai Path.

The BJP MLA from Bankipore Assembly seat, Nitin Navin, said: “It is our duty to make this rally bigger than ever. I have been asked to bring as many people as possible to Gandhi Maidan. As my constituency is in Patna, I will not have to make much arrangement for the supporters. But I am doing whatever I am supposed to.”

Surajgarha BJP MLA Prem Ranjan Patel has also made necessary arrangements at his official residence at MLA Flats on Beer Chand Patel Path. “Proper arrangements are being made as many people will come from Lakhisarai district to attend Advaniji’s rally. Lunch has been arranged at my residence for the party supporters. Crowd is the most important factor in a public meeting because it shows the strength of a party. So I will have to make sure that enough crowd gather at Gandhi Maidan tomorrow to listen to Advaniji.”

Hisua MLA Anil Singh would offer sweets and snacks to the supporters when they enter his house at Chajjubagh, close to Gandhi Maidan. The crowd will also get a decent lunch at his residence.
