A Korean book on Super 30 founder Anand Kumar would hit the stands soon. A South Korean publisher has approached the mathematician for the project.
Kumar told The Telegraph on Sunday: “The agency approached me a month back seeking permission to publish a book on me. I shall complete the formalities within a week.”
The book would focus on the work of Kumar, who has helped more than 250 students from economically weak background to crack the difficult IIT-JEE.
It would also discuss his initiative, his struggle and the students who have made it to the premier tech cradles of India after being groomed at Super 30.
The coaching institute accepts 30 students form economically backward families and grooms them free-of-cost every year.
This would not be for the first time that Koreans would get to know about achievements of Kumar. A South Korean radio channel broadcast a programme on his life and works recently. A Korean magazine also published a feature on him recently.
Besides South Korea, Anand’s success story has already attracted international attention of different media houses.
Discovery Channel, Al Jazeera, NHK of Japan and others have telecast special programmes on the mathematics teacher.
