Patna: Ishu Kumari (12), whose widowed mother works as a domestic in the state capital, has starry dreams in her twinkling eyes. A student of Class VII in Ravindra Balika Vidyalaya in Patna City, Ishu is among eight underprivileged children from the city's Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhavan who have been selected for the final audition round of the popular television reality show India's Best Dramebaaz.

They will leave Patna on May 22 to take part in the final selection round in Mumbai to be held on May 25 and 26.

The lucky eight from Kilkari got selected after clearing the first two rounds in Patna and the third in Calcutta. The children have pinned high hopes on their selection as earlier too, Kilkari kids have been selected for the same reality show.

Khushbu and Kartikey Raj from Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhavan have appeared in the earlier seasons of the reality show. Kartikey even went on to grab a role in Kapil Sharma's show later.

"I love Alia Bhatt and Hrithik Roshan. If I get chance in the reality show, maybe my dream to become an actor will come true," smiled Ishu. She added that she had enrolled into acting classes at Kilkari two years ago and found acting quite fun there. Ishu had presented a dual act with another girl, Sonali, in which they presented a Shiv-Parvati episode.

Six-year-old Sanskriti, another child from Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhavan, said: "I had presented a solo act in the Calcutta round in which I played the role of a husband and wife. The wife was very talkative, while her husband was just the opposite. I had never appeared on TV. If I get selected for this final round, I have been told that I would appear on TV and that is the best part."

Aarav Kumar, who got selected after playing the role of Ashwatthama, said: "My family will be more than happy to see me on TV. I am keeping my fingers crossed for selection."
