Art, culture and youth affairs minister Sukhda Pandey inaugurated the three-day Kesariya Mahotsav on Friday.

Pandey said: “Lord Buddha’s preaching on humanity will be taken forward. The state will request the Centre for proper preservation and development of the Buddha stupa in Kesariya.” Kesariya MLA Sachindra Prasad Singh chaired the function.

The state government has also formed a high-level medical team for a three-day health camp at the fest.
