Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan will "interview" RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Id.
The actor will be in Patna on Thursday to promote his upcoming movie, Madaari.
Asked why he chose to interview Lalu, Irrfan said: "Neither is the world awake, nor is it laughing. The world's sense of humour is dying out. But there is this one politician, whether he answers questions or not, he hasn't lost his sense of humour."
Lalu was his usual self when quizzed about it.
"I have no information of any such interview. But if Irrfan visits me, I will be happy to host him," he said.
The story of Madaari explores the accountability of the system. The film revolves around Irrfan's character, who abducts the home minister's son, against the backdrop of the loss of his own son who dies when a metro bridge collapses in Mumbai while the authorities led by Jimmy Sheirgill's character tries to get hold of him.
