Chhapra, March 8: An advocates’ wives’ association would soon be set up here.

A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the Chhapra Bar Association today, said a source. The meeting was convened to mark International Women’s Day.

Making this announcement, Ravi Ranjan Singh, the general secretary of the association said: “The office of the wives’ association would be set up in the building which houses the advocates’ association. The wife of the district judge would be the patron of this association.”

Women advocates of the town welcomed the decision.
