Patna, Aug. 12: Freedom mood was in the air as a number of city schools organised pre-Independence Day celebrations today.

St Dominic Savio’s High School organised a competition of patriotic songs. Vande Mataram, Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon and Ma Tujhe Salaam were performed. The Yellow House was declared winner.

Tender Hearts International and TEFL Play School hosted fancy dress shows. The event at TEFL Play School was titled Chhoro Kal Ki Bataein, Kal Ki Baat Purani. Schoolchildren dressed up as freedom fighters for the fancy dress shows.
