Former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi said the party had reserved 11 trains for the Hunkar Rally and would install a large dynamic screen on stage to create a larger-than-life image of Narendra Modi.

Unlike other places where the replica of the Red Fort and other monuments were created, the rally at Patna would have a 30ft dynamic screen, the BJP leader said. The light-emitting diode (LED) screen would display slides showing historical places of the state like Nalanda University, Bodhgaya and Golghar among others along with portraits of great personalities.

The BJP is leaving no stone unturned to make Modi’s maiden political rally in chief minister Nitish Kumar’s home turf a mega success.

He said: “For a comprehensive coverage of the rally, the party has decided to press into service around 12 of its own cameramen to capture bit-by-bit pictures of the crowd and other memorable events. This has been decided because TV channels can put one cameraman for the event who can zoom their camera only on one side. So we decided to capture pictures of the rally through 12 video camera lens.”

He added: “The video cassettes would be made available to TV channels for their convenience.” The Leader of the Opposition in Bihar Assembly, Nand Kishore Yadav, said linear sound system would be used in the state for the first time so that everybody could hear the speech clearly. Bihar BJP president Mangal Pandey said 11 trains have been reserved for people to come to Patna for the rally. “Over 3,000 buses have been booked to transport people from various parts of the state,” he added.

Total 30 LED screens would be installed in Gandhi Maidan so that people sitting at a distance can also have a clear view of the stage. Party president Rajnath Singh, the Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley, actor-politician, Patna Sahib MP Shatrughan Sinha and state leaders would take part, the state party chief said.
