Araria, April 11: A function was organised to observe the 34th death anniversary of Hindi writer Phanishwar Nath “Renu” at his native village, popularly known as Renu Gaon Simrahi, today.

Chief whip in the Bihar Assembly Shravan Kumar inaugurated the programme. Bihar State Building Construction minister Damodar Rawat, former Union state minister Taslimuddin, Araria MP Pradip Kumar Singh were also present on the occasion. Floral tributes were paid to Renu’s statue.
