National Service Scheme members plant a sapling at Oriental College in Patna City on Saturday on the eve of World Environment Day. The National Service Scheme is an Indian government-sponsored public service programme conducted by the youth affairs and sports ministry. Differently abled students of National Institute of Open Schooling also planted saplings in the presence of its regional director CB Sharma. A painting competition for the students was organised. Students from JM Institute of Speech and Hearing, and NGO The Vigil also participated in the programmes.
