The chief abbot of Royal Thai Temple, Bodhgaya, gifts Hollywood actor Richard Gere a Buddha statue during the star’s visit to the shrine on Monday night. Gere offered the monks robes. He is in Bodhgaya for the Kalchakra ceremony led by the Dalai Lama.
