Motihari, March 7: Over 1,000 villagers were examined for free by the best doctors in the state at a health check-up camp organised in the district.
Villagers having cardiovascular problems were examined by a team led by Dr S.N. Mishra, director, Indira Gandhi Institute of Cardiology, Patna. “The team examined 124 patients out of which 10 were suggested to go for angiography,” said Dr Parmeshwar Ojha, coordinator of the health camp. Former head of gynaecology department at Patna Medical College and Hospital, Dr (Prof) Sheela Sharma, and Dr Sangeeta of Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences examined nearly 317 patients.
