Fly direct to Mumbai

Patna, March 6: The city fliers will have another option to fly non-stop between Patna and Mumbai from March 27.

The service is being introduced by Jet Airways. The direct flight will take off from Patna at 10.10am and reach Mumbai at 12.30pm.

The flight would actually originate from Mumbai at 5.40am and land in Ranchi at 7.55am. From the Jharkhand capital, the flight will take off for Patna at 8.35am.

After flying for 50 minutes, it will reach Patna at 9.25am. After a halt of 35 minutes, the flight will take off for Mumbai.

Jet Air sources said a 162 Boeing aircraft would operate on this route, which would be its first non-stop flight between Patna and Mumbai.

The tickets will carry a minimum price of Rs 3,700.

At present, there are two flights on the Patna-Mumbai route — Kingfisher and IndiGo. While the Kingfisher’s Patna-Mumbai flight hops at Ranchi, the IndiGo flight stops at Lucknow.
