Panic gripped residents of Maa Mundeshwari Apartment at Buddha Colony after a fire broke out on the premises on Tuesday

 

CAUSE

Electric wire and other valuables were badly damaged because of the fire triggered by a short circuit

 

ACTION

Fire personnel doused the flames. They rushed to the spot after being informed about the incident around 1pm. Cops deployed at Buddha Colony police station said they reached the spot after receiving information from a resident of the building

 

RESULT

Police said there was no report of any casualty or injury in the incident. As the news spread in the area, a number of residents assembled at the spot. The police had to intervene to disperse the onlookers.
