Kanti police on Wednesday evening lodged an FIR against Chotu Singh, 29, son of JDU MLC Dinesh Prasad Singh, and Chotu's aide Bhole Rai, 35, in relation to the murder of Suresh Sah, 50.

The FIR was based on the statement given to the police by the deceased Sah's wife, Radha Devi. She has, however, not specified the motive behind the murder.

The body of Suresh Sah was recovered from Fetehpur village along National Highway-28 under the jurisdiction of Kanti police station on Wednesday morning.

Sah, a resident of Chainpur village, was the caretaker of the house of MLC Dinesh. The body has been sent to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hopsital for autopsy.

Radha in the FIR accused Chotu and Bhole for allegedly abducting her husband on Tuesday night.

"Chotu and Bhole had come down to my house at 11pm and asked my husband to accompany them to the MLC's house in Bhagwapur. My husband said he would come on Wednesday. Both insisted he accompany them in the night only. Unwillingly, my husband went with them on a motorbike," she alleged.

Senior superintendent of police Vivek Kumar said DSP (west) Ajay Kumar will investigate the case.

Efforts were on to contact Dinesh, however, his aide said he was undergoing treatment in Delhi. The whereabouts of Chotu and Bhole were unknown till the filing of the report.
