Patna, March 31: An FIR has been lodged against Bihar minister for food and consumer protection Shyam Rajak for allegedly threatening a contractor cum-JD(U) leader Shambhu Patel Sharan.

In his complaint submitted to the Secretariat police station, Sharan has alleged that the minister hurled abuses and threatened him with dire consequences when he refused to pay “commission” for renovation work at Rajak’s official residence on Hardinge Road.

The minister, however, denied the charge.
