Two organisations of the Rajput community — Bhagalpur Pramandal Kshatriya Yuva Manch and Veer Kunwar Singh Samajik Parisad — would organise Babu Veer Kunwar Singh Vijayutsav Samaroh from Monday.

The four-day event would celebrate freedom fighter Veer Kunwar Singh’s 155th year of victory in the battle of Buxar against the British. Ajay Kumar Singh, the president of the celebration committee, on Sunday said: “The event will be held to make people responsible to social causes and the youths aware of the freedom fighter.”

A mass marriage ceremony and a blood donation camp will be held during the event. The organisers will felicitate a number of people for their contribution to society.
