Muslim youths aspiring to crack the competitive exams for entrance into professional courses will get coaching from a Darbhanga-based centre modelled on the lines of Anand Kumar's Super-30.

Rahmani-30, a free residential coaching centre in the north Bihar town, has decided to offer a year's training to Muslim girls and boys at their Patna branch to crack the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) and IIT-JEE exams. The institute has been grooming Muslim boys for the pre-medical exam for three years.

"The online admission for the yearlong training is open till August 25 but the entrance exam date has not been decided yet," said Shabbirul Hooda, the manager of Rahmani-30. The test would be conducted at centres across Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Manipur.

The response among students was euphoric. "I want to be a doctor," said Alvia Perveen, a Class XII student of Al-Hira Public School, Patna, expressing happiness at Rahmani-30's proposal.

"If I get admission in Rahmani, then I will surely crack the exam in my first attempt."

Zaira Ahmed, a medical aspirant, said: "I am preparing for the Rahmani-30 entrance exam and am sure I will make it. I belong to a poor family and getting admission into this institute can help me reach my goals."

Riyaz Zafeer, whose father works on a small farm in Bettiah, studied at Rahmani-30 and made it to IIT-Kharagpur this year. He said: "I would be the first IIT-ian in my family. I will ensure my father does not have to work."
