Contestants at the Acharya PC Ray Debate Contest prize-distribution ceremony at Shrikrishna Science Centre in Patna on Friday. Fifty-three students from 27 city schools took part in the debate — Chemical Industry: Boon or Bane. Shikha Singh, a Class VIII student of Ishan International, emerged the winner, while Aishwarya Mookhy (second row, second from left), a Class VIII student of International School, was the runner-up. The duo have been selected for the zonal-level contest at Calcutta on August 1.
