Patna, July 11: The residents of the city will have to wait at least for one more week to travel in AC buses.

Eden Transport had announced to start the services on July 7. But it missed the deadline as it has not yet got the permit to run them. “We have applied for the permit last Saturday. It takes around 10 days to complete the formalities. We will try to ply the buses in a week,” Kunal Sharma, chief operations officer, Eden Transport, said.

The citizens are upset over the delay. “When the operator assured to run the buses from July 7 why it filed the application on July 9?” Ashiana Nagar resident Rupesh Kumar said.
