Patna, Nov. 19: Chief minister Nitish Kumar today stressed there would no problem in having Metro railway in the state capital.

Speaking at the state hangar after returning from the second leg of his Seva Yatra, Nitish said: “I do not think there would be any difficulty in having Metro railway in Patna. We have sufficient population. When work on Metro railway starts, a detailed project report would be made. The population will also increase to more than 20 lakh.”

The chief minister added: “Now, so much development work is going on in Patna, because many people from other districts are coming to settle here. So we have to provide better facilities in terms of transportation and we also need to make our infrastructure stronger.”

Speaking on his ongoing Seva Yatra, Nitish said: “The yatra is going on according to the plan and helpful from all perspectives. Work is going on in the districts.”

I personally have good experience. Whenever I get an opportunity, I conduct a random inspection to assess government programmes and schemes.”
