Chhapra, 10 June: A speeding bus crashed into a roadside house after running over two persons at Lal Bazaar village under Mufassil police station in small hours today.

The deceased have been identified as Bhola Kumar and Lakhan Prasad. The driver of the bus has been arrested. He was in an inebriated state.

Sources said the driver lost control over the vehicle after crushing Kumar and Prasad to death around 1.30pm and rammed into the house of Moti Chaudhry, who sustained fractures in his legs. Three bus passengers were also injured.

The sources said four others died in separate mishaps in the district on Thursday.
