Two held for cash loot

MUZAFFARPUR: Police on Friday caught two criminals fleeing with Rs 10,000 they stole from one Ramnath Sah near Motijheel. Sah and his wife, Laxmi Devi, were on way to a bank to deposit the cash when the duo attacked him.

Choubey visit

BHAGALPUR: Union minister of state for health Ashwini Kumar Choubey on Friday inspected a plot of land for the proposed superspeciality hospital that would be built at an estimated Rs 200 crore. Choubey came to Bhagalpur on Friday to attend a family function and later went to the site next to Mount Carmel School. He said the proposed hospital will benefit the residents of Bhagalpur and nearby areas.

Cracker blaze

NAUGACHIA: A mishap was averted in the township on Thursday night when a fire broke out from a dustbin. Police suspected troublemakers placed firecrackers there.
