Boy rapes student
Munger: A 14-year-old private tutor from Manjhgaon village under the jurisdiction of Shampur police outpost was arrested on Thursday by police for raping his eight-year old girl student. The girl was taken to Munger sadar hospital for medical examination.
Arms haul
Munger: Police on Thursday uncovered two mini gun factories and recovered a country-made revolver and a large number of arms-making hand-driven machines and barrels at Gorho village under the jurisdiction of Asarganj police station.

Munger: Police on Thursday arrested two gang members and recovered a pistol and three live-cartridges from their possession near Purabsarai Brahm Asthan under the jurisidction of Purabsarai police outpost.
Climate report
Patna: ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability, an international association, has been assigned by the Patna Municipal Corporation to prepare a report on the impact of climate change in the city. The report is supposed to be submitted by December. A workshop on climate change and its impact on urban areas was also organised by PMC and ICLEI- Local Governments for Sustainability on Thursday.
Conference
Patna: The Centre of Indian Trade Unions on Thursday organised a trade union conference in association with All India Progressive Women Association. The conference was headed by general secretary of CITU (India) Tapan Sen and president of CITU (Bihar) Deepak Bhattacharya. Around 120 CITU delegates from various districts of Bihar attended the conference.
