Patna: The Cricket Association of Bihar has written a letter to Union sports minister Sarbananda Sonowal, seeking direction to the Board of Control for Cricket in India to allow Bihar and other states to play first-class domestic cricket.

Patna: All government as well as private schools will remain closed on Tuesday in honour of former President APJ Abdul Kalam, who passed away in Shillong on Monday. The education department issued a directive in this connection late on Monday evening.
