Bridging the gap

Chief minister Nitish Kumar and deputy chief minister Tejaswi, who also holds the portfolio of the road construction minister, inaugurate the newly constructed state highway 69 (154 km) from Dumaria (Gaya) to Ranitalab Mor (Patna).

Chief minister Nitish Kumar and deputy chief minister Tejaswi, who also holds the portfolio of the road construction minister, inaugurate the newly constructed state highway 69 (154 km) from Dumaria (Gaya) to Ranitalab Mor (Patna). The bridge was constructed at a cost of Rs 440 crore. Nitish said the bridge will bring relief to people staying in Arwal, Gaya and Patna by reducing travel time. Nitish inaugurated the state highway 68 (83km) in Arwal. Bihar legislative council chairman Awadhesh Narayan Singh was present. Text by Amit Bhelari, Telegraph picture
