BIRTHDAY WISHES: Ashok Choudhary greets chief minister Nitish Kumar on his birthday at 1 Aney Marg in Patna on Thursday. Choudhary, the former Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) president, and Congress leaders Dilip Kumar Chaudhary, Ramchandra Bharti and Tanwir Akhtar formally joined the JDU on Thursday. All four are members of the Legislative Council and had left the Congress on Wednesday. JDU state president Bashishtha Narayan Singh was also present on the occasion. (Nagendra Kumar Singh)
