Patna, Aug. 16: Collection of co-operative loan, revenue and cess, irrigation costs and electricity charges for purely agricultural work would remain suspended across the state with the remaining 10 districts also being declared drought hit.
The norms, applicable under the calamity relief fund rules, were in force in the 28 districts that had been declared drought hit on August 3.
The remaining 10 districts, most of which had received scant rainfall, were brought into the drought list yesterday.
The supplementary memorandum, which would be sent to the Centre seeking financial help for the drought-hit people, is being prepared.
“We expect to finalise the supplementary memorandum in two days,” said Vyasji, principal secretary, disaster management.
