Siwan, March 11: Incarcerated former MP Mohammad Shahabuddin was today awarded another three years of rigorous imprisonment for kidnapping a clerk Raj Narayan Singh of animal husbandry department in 1990.
Shahabuddin, at the time of crime, was in jail but it was proved that on his instance the clerk was kidnapped. The former Siwan MP is already serving a life term for kidnapping and suspected murder of a worker and another 10 years of imprisonment for attack on former Siwan superintendent of police S.K. Singhal.
