Shopaholics in the city have reason to cheer. This evening, they get to check out a whole range of attire, knick-knacks, accessories, fun-stuff and lifestyle items at Le Souk, a one-of-a-kind night-market, designed along the lines of a traditional Arabian night bazaar. Mirroring the innovative theme of the bazaar, the decor will be mystical and magical, with trinkets, bead and hang-down glow lights that add to the ambience and transport shoppers into the right mood as they go shop-hopping. The exhibitors’ kiosks include Medhavini Khaitan for menswear, Funk for bags, Aditi Kohli for party dresses, Amet & Ladoue for trendy Western wear, Amoda with reflexology, Kaji with home décor deals, Onset with furnishings, Vasundhara Mantri with jewellery, Aarya 24k with men’s accessories and Technocity with gadgets and gizmos. “The idea is to create a market-like ambience where customers can pick up exclusive designer pieces at reasonable prices,” says Arvind Bhatnagar of Shisha, which plays host to the show.
