April 13 at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture, 3 Regent Park; 6 pm: Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture, in collaboration with the department of information & cultural affairs, Government of West Bengal and Rabindra Bharati University, presents Basanta Utsav. Participating groups: Rabindra Bharati University, Surangama, Bhowanipore Baikali Association, and Dakshin Kolkata Nandaniki. April 13 at Kala Kunj; 6 pm: Sur O Lok presents a solo recital of Tagore and other Bengali songs by Malabika. Also, release of a CD of Bengali modern songs produced by Prime Music. This show would essentially deal with the New Year celebration in various provinces of our nation. Along with the cultural show, there would also be a food festival. Featuring audio-drama Tobu Mone Rekho, a laughter-comedy session Rongorosh, tribute concert Chironton Swarnojug, and Babuana Bibiani, a musical entourage followed by a fashion showcase.
