Moulded masterpieces
Bringing art to life through objects, forms and figures, 4th Dimension, the ongoing exhibition of sculptures by a group of well-known artists, features works that express relationships, tell stories, evoke nostalgia, stir religious sentiment, show action and much more. Inspired by events and moments from daily life, each sculpture is distinctive and characterised by the personal style of its creator. Designed with fine aesthetic sense, the works provide an insight into the mind and motivation of the respective sculptors. Though human forms dominate the works on show, it also includes animal forms, divine beings and even inanimate objects. Participants: Shankar Ghosh, Bipin Goswami, Niranjan Pradhan, Bimal Kundu, Manik Talukdar, Anil Sen, Kinkar Saha, Tapas Sarkar (a sculpture by him appears here), Subhamita Dinda and others.
