October 5 at Rabindra Sadan; 6 pm: Madhur Tomar ? a programme of songs and recitation. Participants include Sreeradha Banerjee, Shampa Kundu, Madhurima Dutta Choudhury, Rinki Ganguly, Debmalya Chatterjee, Indrani Dutta Mullick, Anuradha Goswami, Pranjaparamita Roy, and Sukanya Nath in songs, and Sovansundar Basu, Aisarjya Basu and Madhumita Basu in recitation. BOOK LAUNCH & READING

October 5 at Oxford Bookstore; 6.30 pm: Oxford Bookstore and Penguin India launch the City of Sin and Splendour: Writings on Lahore, followed by a book reading session by editor Bapsi Sidhwa. The poems of Allama Iqbal will also be recited by Vijay Kichlu in Urdu and Anjum Katyal in English.
