Students of Kalyani Public School, Barasat, put up Shiva Vandana, western and folk dance on their annual day. Props and costumes added colour to the performances.
The annual function of Panchasayar Siksha Niketan was a colourful mix of creativity and excellence in academics. Students presented dance, drama and vocal performances. “Everyone waits for this day. This is a get-together for parents, staff, teachers and students. Maheshwari Girls’ School celebrated its 32nd foundation day with a programme at Mahajati Sadan. Ganesh, Shiva, Saraswati and Krishna were invoked through music and dance. Teachers and non-teaching employees who have completed 25 years in service were felicitated, along with 25 former students.
An art and craft exhibition was organised at Satish Chandra Memorial School to mark Saraswati Puja.
