Seventy candidates from various countries are appearing in the ongoing Master of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), Edinburgh, exams being held for the first time in the city at the KPC Medical College and Hospital.
The tests are being held from January 18 to 22. Successful candidates will be awarded MRCS certificates.
David Tolley, the president of the British college, said the city had been chosen because of its “easy accessibility” from “different parts of India and abroad”. He expressed satisfaction over the facilities at KPC.
The tests are also held in three other Indian cities — Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad. Singapore, Iraq and Sudan are among the countries from where doctors have come for the test.
