Cooch Behar, Oct. 1: Fumigation of the operation theatres of MJN Hospital here was carried out for the second day today following a tetanus scare on Wednesday, reports our correspondent.
?We have got in touch with experts in Calcutta and at the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital,? said hospital superintendent Kalyan Ranjan Banerjee. He said the operation theatres would remain closed till reports of the culture of samples taken from the patient?s bandage reached them. Sources at the hospital said doctors detected symptoms of tetanus when Jolly Sarkar, 11, was being taken to the operation theatre on Wednesday.
