Calcutta: Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday told the Congress that it could not "take a single step in Parliament without Trinamul's help", objecting to the party's opposition to Trinamul and the Bengal government in the state Assembly.

"The Congress cannot take a single step in Parliament without Trinamul's help and support. Here (in Bengal), they are in total non-cooperation mode with the Trinamul government," she said, accusing the party's state unit of spoiling the spirit of parliamentary democracy by its boycotts and demonstrations outside the House.
