It was time for some Saturday night fever on the first day of the finals of Dabur Red Paste TTIS Challenge 2016, in association with City Centre Salt Lake. Setting the stage on fire with Prithibita naki chhoto hote hote, Krosswindz went on to cover rock greats with Chandrani Banerjee on lead vocals and Vikramjit ‘Tuki’ Banerjee on guitar. “This is the first time I caught them performing live,” said Soham Ghatak, Class VII, South Point High School, who has attended workshops with Krosswindz drummer Tushar Banerjee.

Plastic wrappers, plastic spoons, CDs, foils and more turned into glamour wear as students of Methodist School, Dankuni, ruled the ramp in the Fashion Parade final. Their theme: Best out of Waste. “We wanted to show how waste can be used creatively,” said Deesha Bisswas, a Class XI student of the school.
